Philippine localization¶
Cayamanan includes the Philippine accounting localization used by its current release. It provides a starting chart and country-specific accounting data for a Philippine company.
Localization does not by itself guarantee that a company is compliant with every BIR, SEC, local-government, industry, or audit requirement. Obligations depend on registration, business type, transaction, current rules, configuration, approved forms, procedures, and sometimes accreditation. Have a qualified Philippine accountant review the chart of accounts, taxes, fiscal positions, journals, opening balances, document wording, and reporting process before going live.
Do not describe Cayamanan as automatically “BIR compliant.” Report a localization gap with the Cayamanan version, expected rule, effective date, and a link to the official source. Never include confidential taxpayer data in a public report.
