Cloud or self-hosted?

Both choices run Cayamanan. The difference is who looks after the system.

Choose self-hosting when

Your organization has someone who can safely run, secure, update, back up, and restore the system. The software is free, but your team owns that work. Your technical team can find the server requirements in the installation guide.

Choose managed cloud hosting when

You prefer iBAS Software to operate the hosting environment under an agreed service quotation. Before purchase, ask what the plan includes for storage, backups, support, renewal, taxes, and recovery. Published prices are yearly and depend on the number of named users.

Setup help is separate

Hosting does not by itself prepare your customers, products, accounts, opening balances, permissions, or business procedures. The optional Starter Pack covers a defined set of data-loading, field, document-layout, and early helpdesk tasks. Changes to how work is approved or processed, additional apps, and new custom features are quoted separately.

If you are still deciding, write down who will own security, monitoring that the service stays available, backups, restore tests, and updates. If nobody owns them, self-hosting is not yet ready.
